Here at Robert Tracey we pride ourselves on our quality of service and the excellence of our product. We believe that you don’t have to sacrifice quality for affordability. With our prices starting from as little as £595 for a ‘hand stitched bespoke tailored suit’ we are sure you will be delighted with the outcome.
We spend a minimum of 30 hours on the production of each and every suit we make, which is often increased by an additional 10 – 20 hours depending on any optional extras you may require. Our tailors have a combined experience of over 160 years in tailoring, meaning there will be no style we do not know, nor shall it be a problem to produce.

The process of your bespoke suit will begin with a consultation with one of our experienced tailors where your thoughts and requirements will be discussed and along with our expertise your suit shall be designed. Everything from the angle of the pockets to weight of cloth.
After this 32 measurements will be taken to ensure an accurate and precise fit. These measurements will be chalked onto your choice of cloth and cut out along with a paper pattern for reference on any future orders. Once the cloth is cut it shall be lightly stitched to create a simple shell of a suit otherwise known as a “baste”. The basted fitting is where we check the overall fit of the garment and using a pinch and pin technique make any necessary tweaks to perfect the fit. The suit is then pulled apart and re-cut before the finishing touches are made to complete the suit. A final fitting then takes place allowing a chance if necessary to make any final amendments to ensure both ourselves and the customer are completely happy with the fit.
We use only the finest in British woollens with the exception of a French cloth manufacture “Dormeuil”. The likes of Dormeuil, Holland and Sherry, Scabal and Bateman Ogden are among the elite when it come to quality.
